Ben Baker is deeply in love with his fiancée Samantha, but has promised her that they will not make love until their wedding night, still six months away. The promise is driving him crazy and he is obviously frustrated with the situation. One day at work, Ben’s colleague Garrett introduces him to a virtual sex program called "Sensuous Cindy." Instantly intrigued, Ben tests the program and finds himself in a candlelit room with a beautiful blonde who begins kissing him passionately. After "making love" to Cindy, Ben arrives home that evening with flowers in hand for his fiancée, feeling better than ever. He is shocked when he receives a call that night from Cindy herself. Although Ben quickly hangs up the phone, Cindy continues to hound him the next day while Ben is at work, popping up on his computer screen and telling him that they belong together. Ben continues to ignore her until she traps him in the elevator that evening. Ben insists that their affair was just a one-night stand until she threatens to leave him in the elevator forever. Eventually managing to escape, Ben urges Garrett to delete the program from his computer. Ben arrives home absolutely exhausted only to discover that Cindy has invaded his home computer as well and that she obviously will not go away as easily as he had hoped.

In a futuristic society, Jeff Freed leads a squad hunting for a creature called "Kreetor" who has brutally killed several mountain hikers in the area. Although the Kreetors were thought to have died out several decades before, one is still in hiding. Hunting the Kreetor proves to be tougher than imagined when squad member Kim is immediately picked off by the mysterious killer. Freed decides that the group must continue without Kim, against the wishes of two other members, who decide to go back and find him. Just as they do, however, they are both speared by the creature and killed. By morning, only Freed and squad member Yarrow are left. Freed decides that he will go in and face the monster alone, not wanting to put Yarrow’s life in any more danger. Refusing to leave his side, the two head into the woods, and Yarrow is almost immediately captured. In an effort to rescue her, Freed is captured as well. He wakes up in a candle-lit cave—the lair of the beast. He faces Kreetor, only to find that the beast is actually a man.
